Lonnie is the first vigilante peer Tim interacted with and a major part of Tim's first solo detective case before becoming Robin - their histories are connected inside and outside of the comics, as Lonnie was the third Robin that never was and Tim is the third Robin that was. Tim maintains the myth of the Bat and Lonnie works to render the need for it obsolete (despite admiring Batman to a degree) which makes for interesting contrast. Tim's been at least somewhat interested in talking to and understanding Lonnie since their first interaction despite their couple of clashes, offering to discuss Anarchist politics with him, and Lonnie is someone often misunderstood by the wider vigilante community. Their banter is fun when they're up against each other, and Tim arrives at the conclusion that they'd make a good team the second time they meet. Tim makes a few comments here and there about how Lonnie's motivations are right and how his heart's in the right place, proving a sympathy with his cause even if it chafes against Batman's. Later on, Tim saves Lonnie's life when he's about to die after getting trapped attached to a blimp set to explode. Tim saves Lonnie's life again when Lonnie's kidnapped by Ulysses Armstrong at the end of his Robin solo, beforehand starting to correspond with Lonnie to try to track him down and rescue him and then actually rescuing him with Ulysses makes Tim choose between apprehending him and saving Lonnie. Tim in Red Robin shows signs of liking Lonnie, teaming up with him, being very concerned about his well being, even calling him his "best friend" a few times, even if sarcastically. Lonnie uses the fact that Tim understands him and how he operates to convince Tim to let him deal with the Unternet. Tim defends Lonnie's character. There's a lot of potential for the two of them any way you slice it (because there is some rivalry, annoyance, mistrust present), but I think they're people who are both similar enough to each other and different enough from each other in ways that would challenge each other to reflect on aspects of themselves, and there's nothing Tim loves more than someone who challenges him. Lonnie's painfully lonely and often needs others to drag him back down from the clouds when his well-intentioned schemes get out of hand as well as thoughts that he's the only one who can actually save the world, and Tim tends to connect or connect well with others, working well with a team. Lonnie is someone who has big, alternative ideas about society and how to deal with societal issues and has the drive to get things done, which I think would be good for Tim who is so averse to becoming like Batman, and they make nice conversation partners. There's more I could say but this is already getting so long. TL;DR timlonnie sweep forever.

Project Eden's Garden Predictions

This is meant to be silly. Spoilers in post and in tags

There's a really big influencer light and Kai just walks right up to it and gets fried like a moth. Kai is a victim.

An area opens up with remote controlled RC cars. During the race, everyone hits the sand bags at least once. The sand bags start leaking pink. They open it like a cocoon. The butterfly was broken upon the wheel. Kai is a victim.

Toshiko forces Kai to watch teen rom-coms with her. Kai is a victim.

Grace goes "Screw you Damon. The man I shared a bed with is gone, so I'm killing the man you share a bed with." Kai is a victim.

Damon was supposed to die in Chapter 4. Kai becomes aware of the plan, but ends up dying himself to save Damon. This kickstarts a series of events (like the butterfly effect) that lead to Damon finally being fully into being part of the group and ending the killing game. Kai and his killer are treated as martyrs. Kai is a victim.

Same thing as above but Damon commits a murder instead. He gets away with it. It doesn't matter anyways. Kai was a victim.

Damon goes: "so how did the victim die?" Kai says: "Like this!" Kai is a victim.

Eloise is training late at night and sees Kai acting odd. A misunderstanding happens where she doesn't know it's Kai specifically. Still, she believes whoever she saw, which just happened to be Kai, was a horrible, irredeemable person. She makes him suffer. Kai is a victim.

Jean kills Kai for his attempt at French. Jean is a bigger victim. Kai is a victim.

A big plot involving handwritten murder notes pops up. Except the handwriting is atrocious (in trial, there's confusion whether it's Damon or Demond. Also Mark vs Ultimate Marksman). Kai ended up getting killed because the killer confused his last name with Grace's. Kai is a victim.

Diana gets Kai because chameleons eat butterflies and she was hungie. Kai is a victim.

Kai does a little hip bonk to get an item out of the machines. The machine falls over and breaks. Mara gets him. Kai is a victim.

The casts gets it into their heads that this situation is like V3. They totally consented, this is a television show, and all their fans are routing for them. Cassidy and Kai end up fighting to the death for the sake of their fanbase. Kai is a victim.

Someone pops Kai's pool inner tube. He does not float like a butterfly. Kai is a victim.

Ingrid knocks Kai upside the head with a horny jail hammer. And by that I mean sledgehammer. Kai is a victim.

Kai makes it to the very end where the garden itself is starting to crumble. They come across a statue of two men. The boulder that the Cain statue was holding falls. Kai is a victim.

Wenona wants to get out and somehow clocks Damon, Ulysses and Kai to be the only people smart enough to rat her out. Theres a sleepover between a lot of people in Ulysses room to try and research about where they are. The room fills with gas that Ulysses can't smell. The gas is denser than air. Kai, who was sleeping on the ground, is found before anyone else can be affected and the attempt at getting him to fresh air gets everyone else out of danger. Kai is a victim.

Jett goes "I like cars" and suddenly a car appears out of nowhere and hits Kai. Kai is a victim.

Kai begs Mark to listen to his super cool music idea. "Trust me it's so cool and you just have to make it but it's a billion dollar idea. I'll pay you in exposure. It'll totally pay for itself-" Kai is a victim.

"A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush". Two strangulation victims are found. You would think it would be the two women with bird motifs, but only one of them is. Kai is a victim.

It's a simulation. Kai is a bug in the program. Tozu removes him. Kai is a victim.

Kai discovers Mukuro Ikusaba. The sixteenth student, lying hidden somewhere in Eden's Garden. The one they call the Ultimate Despair. He didn't watch out for her. Kai is a victim.

Kai gets really messy in a bathroom with his hair dye. The pink smears make him look like the killer. The class gets it wrong and everyone is a victim. Kai is a victim.

Desmond is dared to hit a target. This triggers a trap which kills Kai. There is a debate over if whoever set the trap is the killer, or if whoever hit the target was the killer. Doesn't matter to Kai what the answer is. Kai is a victim.

Damon is too comfy cozy to get up. There is nothing containing Kai except for Damon sleeping on top of him. Kai starves to death. Kai is a victim.

Damon: I don’t know why, I just think a meal cooked by Damon would be really shitty.

Eva: We already know from canon that Eva has a very wide skill set, so who’s to say she can’t cook, either?

Wolfgang: The man thought you were supposed to pour the entire bottle of detergent in when you’re using the washing machine. There’s no way he can cook.

Grace: She at least had the common sense to correct her boyfriend Wolfie on the above, so? I assume she’d be alright at it?

Toshiko: This needs no explanation. She is literally 14. I think she’d know a lot about food in relation to romance, since that’s her talent, but actual cooking? Likely not.

Eloise: I just get those vibes from her, y’know? She probably cooks at home with her mom or something?

Desmond: Vibes and vibes only.

Jean: You can’t be a ship captain and just… not be good at cooking! That man makes the most banger seafood dishes you’ll ever taste in your life!

Ingrid: I’m not even going to explain this.

Wenona: C’mon, she’s the pioneer of the agricultural industry. She has to be at least a little good, even if she has, I dunno, personal chefs cooking everything for her most of the time.

Cassidy: I feel like Cassidy has made a lot of, like, intentionally bad dishes. Like, during livestreams and such. She’ll stream herself making a custard-shrimp pie with added hot sauce, eat it, and then end the stream ten minutes before she throws up. It’s her way of life. Following the rules and making something good for once would be a violation of who she is.

Jett: Again, vibes. Jett is the kind of person who loves food but can’t cook to save his life.

Mark: No offence, Mark fans, but I think anything cooked by him would probably be pretty flavourless. Though, on the bright side, at least he’s not a living fire hazard like Jett is.

Kai: I mean, we know he can at least make coffee, but since this is specifically about cooking and not coffee-making… I dunno, I just put him in the middle because I can’t make up my mind.

Diana: I think she’d be very into the aesthetics of cooking but not so much making stuff that actually tastes good. She’s better at baking.

Ulysses: Good-to-okay-ish when it actually turns out well, but because of his inability to smell, goldfish memory (at least, when he doesn’t have his notebook) and tendency to fall asleep while standing up, things go wrong pretty often. At least, when he doesn’t have someone helping him out.

Tozu: I’ve got a very specific idea in my head for how good he’d be at cooking: similar to Ulysses in that everything he makes would be basically five-star, but every time he enters the kitchen there’s a very real chance that at least one thing will catch fire. High-risk, high-reward. Also similar to Cassidy in that he likes to experiment with foods that absolutely do not go together (though half the time it turns out surprisingly good).

Mara: Kinda the complete opposite of Tozu! Since I imagine she’d be a good survivalist, or otherwise be obsessed with keeping her body in the best condition possible, I think she’d be very good at cooking stuff that’s very healthy and very safe, but kind of terrible taste-wise.

abt percy jackson's middle name - a long post

let's talk about percy's middle name, its implication and what is my headcanon for it!!

first a warning!! i know very little abt actual greek mithology. i've tried to read my copy of odyssey and illiad a total of 10 times and i CANNOT for my life understand that shit. having said that, my mythos knowledge is based on hours on wikipedia sources pages, greek miths articles and more. anyways, this will have spoilers of the Percy Jackson Universe by Rick Riordan.

having been warned, I should start with one point:

percy doesn't have a middle name in canon. From what we've known it's never mentioned a middle name at all, wich is not very uncommon in the PJO universe, as most character do not have one (from the top of my head the only ones that canonically have one are Rachel and Reyna (Rachel Elizabeth Dare and Reyna Avila Ramírez-Arellano))

BUT in most fandom fanfics that feature his middle name, he is called Perseus Achilles Jackson. Again, it is not canon, but it is so common that most people think it is true. Unfortunately, it doesn't make sense.

It's canon that Sally was the one that named Percy, and she chose Perseus, a son of Zeus, as her choice because he was one of the only Greek heroes that in most versions of the myths get to live a long and relatively happy life after their adventures. From what I've known most times Perseus dies of old age or ascends as a constellation along with his mother and his wife, Andromeda.

Now, what are the implications that we know of?

this will be mostly speculation and head canons, so beware!!

i don't think Rick Riordan ever stated, but it is possible to draw parallels between Percy and Annabeth with Perseus and Andromeda, essentially in their first quest, even more in the series. The same is possible to associate with other characters with names derived from Greek myths.

and, until now, all of Percy's quest he has come back alive, even if the world was ending or if he has gone trough Tartarus, he has come back alive.

As it stands in canon, it's often said that names have power !! saying gods, monsters or others names will call their attention, or give them power. it could be associated that those names with History, or a Legacy HAVE more power and purpose behind them. Ex: Castor and Pollux, Jason, could even say Leo etc.

that is great, and reforces that its possible Sally did something right about the naming.

now, next part is a FULL BLOWN HEAD CANON!!

to me, his full name is Perseus Ulysses Jackson. let me tell you why.

Ulysses = Odysseus

Ulysses comes from Odysseus, yes, the Greek hero hated by Poseidon from the Odyssey. Why would Sally do that? Same reason of why Perseus.

Odysseus, despite all his Odyssey, came back home. In the Odyssey, is said he will live the rest of his life peacefully, and apparently he lived mor 10 years as Ithaca's King. There is another myth where he is killed by his son with Circe, but ignore that for this post.

I think it would make sense for the way they both lived that even if Poseidon hated him, that Sally would have her son named after a hero and a general that even after everything he went trough he still made home, still had people who believed in him, even if Sally herself were not there to see him, like Odysseus' mother, at least he would be alive.

Someone that is selfish in a way if that means he lives. In the same way Sally calls herself selfish for trying to have Percy with her for more time during the years before TLT. For that she endured Gabe.

Not that she knew that of course, but the fates could be at work. I'm always fan of a good foreshadowing.

Now Speaking of foreshadowing, next topic

2. Ulysses - Roman name

Ulysses is the roman version of Odysseus, still has the same meaning and the roman version of the myth is not that different. Why roman, then?

First, because my Odyssey copy was with the Roman names and I was very pissed at that when I was 12 and tried reading it for the first time and discovered that the FUCKING ODYSSEY MAN WAS NOT CALLED ODYSSEUS IN MY VERSION, to my frustration.

ANYWAY, second point: Percy has a connection to the Roman since the first book.

In his classes with Chiron, Percy fights in Roman armor, swords and has Latin classes, and while that is all good and cool, i always found it strange of Chiron to teach Latin, and not Greek. Of course, it could be a ruse of Chiron to distance Percy even more from his greek side, while still helping him learn about the world. it could be nothing.

but to me is not nothing.

Percy has a weird facility with Latin at 12 that Jason did not have with Greek at 16. And while it could be argued that they did not have their memories, Percy was a 12 yo boy that CURSED IN LATIN in a time of distress. I bet they did not have classes about "How to curse in Latin" and i doubt Percy searched for that somewhere.

Percy is very connected with the Roman side of the demigod world, he feels drawn to New Rome, goes to the Roman Uni and he gets so wrapped in it he becomes PREATOR in like a week!! while Jason spent months on the Greek side.

Percy has a lot of participation in Both sides of the demigods being a kinda important figure in both camps.

now, a subtopic.

Percy Jackson: Son of Neptune

Percy is presented as a son of Neptune from the get go in camp Jupiter, wich he doesn't protest at any time (from what i remember), the thing is Poseidon IS different from Neptune specially their roots.

Poseidon is primarily the god of the sea. Neptune is the god of rivers, springs, and waters.

Technically, Percy should not have control of any type of water or rivers, his father is the god of SEA, saltwater. Even then, he can control even the rivers in the Underworld. He has such control of "water" that he can control ALL LIQUIDS! That is not Poseidon's domain, the control of Waters is Neptune's.

knowing this i like to believe the following.

Percy is the son of both Poseidon and Neptune. Don't ask me the logistics, i wouldn't know, and i don't care. HOWEVER when you add things up, it makes sense, in my head, at least.

In conclusion, Sally associates her son's fate with two heroes that go trough MANY hardships but get back home, are strong and live kind of happy lives after that. One of them is mainly Greek, being his first name, what he is primarily called. The other is Roman, it is there, but it's not mentioned, but it still is his name, and it gives him power.

Specially, when you think that the roman counterparts all have a child, except Neptune. Pluto has Hazel, Hades had Bianca and Nico. Jupiter had Jason, Zeus has Thalia. Poseidon has Percy, Neptune has no one? seems unequal and unbalanced in a way the gods wouldn't allow.

Not only that but why would Neptune "claim" or let be claimed a son that wasn't his when Rome hasn't been grateful or careful with him? His last child was scorned (i don't remember the name but it's said that they were basically blamed for earthquakes or something in the 1900)

as the series goes and percy draws MUCH MORE POWER from rivers and other liquids than from the ocean, and the time it took for percy to be born he could be powerful from both sides. he is the first demigod of Poseidon in 70+ years, but he is the first demigod rrom Neptune in 100+ !!!

it makes sense that even if he is called a greek, as his name evokes, he is connected and powerful on his Roman side. It is not a coincidence that people thought he was a god when he first arrived in Camp Jupiter.

It's a tribute for both his Roman and Greek sides, to invoke the names and fates of two powerful kings that are burdened with responsibility, and that learned and lived after their quests.

i could talk about this for hours, specially if Epic's Odysseus by Jorge Rivera-Herrans is taken in account (wich I am doing) but I will not elaborate

anyway, Percy's middle name is Ulysses and I'm right, idc.

He is the ship’s medic[1]/ship’s doctor[3], plays fiddle and has a mechanised right arm[1].

The ace of hearts card in his hat indicates he is asexual [18].

'He likes love, and love songs, and people in love' [18].

His own romantic inclination is unknown [18].

He knows some German words, but is not fluent [19].

Marius is not white [20].

backstory 

He is neither a baron nor a doctor[3][5]; ‘Baron’ is a corruption of his original name, Byron von Raum[2][5].

Marius has a sister called Dorothea, and they were raised by a single nonbinary parent. Marius doesn’t remember their name or face, and knows them only as Zeze[6].

It is strongly implied that Marius was not mechanised by Dr Carmilla [7].

Marius is 5’5 and very skinny. This is apparently because he came from a world that is ‘somewhat medieval in its nutrition levels’ and Marius was not a healthy child. [14]

He piloted a mecha called KISMET. She was 5-6 storeys tall and slightly insectoid, like a dragonfly or butterfly. [17]

‘The control pod’s entirely in the head, which allows the internal control rig to right itself like a ball bearing, keeping the pilot upright whether she’s standing on the ground, hovering, flying horizontally, banking sharply or even rolling.’ [17]

The mecha is not meelee-oriented. [17]

According to Jonny, he grew a beard presumably around 08/02/2014 ‘almost instantaneously, and without warning’ and was apparently ‘very upset’ and ‘said he’d been holding it in for decades and just that momentary lapse of concentration as I kneecapped him had ruined all his hard work’[8]

He once dressed up as the Toy Soldier for a halloween concert [9]

Drumbot Brian once responded to someone asking how the mechanisms were by describing marius as ‘mad’[10]

The Aurora describes Marius as ‘the broken doctor’ [16]

In The Bifrost Incident, Marius does not know where he got the violin - in fact, he doesn’t even realise he’s holding it until Lyf points it out [15]

Jonny is implied to have already witnessed Marius’ death before the final concert; he says ‘11.7 seconds. At least, by my watch.’ [13]

I think about how udad has not only the most hopeful ending of the mechs album, it is also the only one where the Main Character sings. Like in ouatis and hnoc it is the narrator who sings of the tragedy (with Mordred having a few lyrics in bg) and Lyf actually does get a say in the tbi ending, but they dont really sing and their narration is that of just pure horror.

In udad Ulysses sings and they sing about their coming death, and they sing about how they are truly about to be free, and they sing about them being reunited by their lover, but most importantly they sing about how they are going to have an eternal rest, never to be disturbed again, about dying a true death, a right that was stolen from everyone on that planet. I think about how they end their life and the album singing.

I think about how this story is told by a crew of immortal space pirates. These space pirates have lived longer than some of the planets and stars, sometimes even helped in their early destruction. They only bother with tragedies, stories of dying love, of inescapable violence, of atrocities in name of knowledge, of doomed dreams, because in their own words happy endings are 'boring'. I think about how these immortals also curse their immortality, how they welcomed their deaths. How despite revelling in violence and doomed love and tragedies, they chose to tell this story of someone who found peace in their true death, a simple nobody to them yet gained what they couldnt have. They chose to tell their story and they sang their ending and they sang with hope.

🐍 Damon Maitsu- Ultimate Debater

Obviously everybody has the mastermind theory. It's the garden of eden and Satan was the snake. I do agree with the Satan analogy, but more so as an "outer" symbolism as opposed to an "inner" symbolism. Let me explain that better. I think that Damon will come of as antagonistic to the group because he says the right things in the wrong way. Like how he was trying to help everyone by telling them not to trust each other, but he was a dick about. Damon will play the Devil in the perception of the cast, but I don't believe that he will be actually behind the Killing Game.

🐦‍⬛ Eva Tsunaka - Ultimate Liar

I understand the first culprit theory. Eva is a similar name to Eve, Eve is the first human to sin, Eva is the first cast member to kill. That makes sense, but I see her taking on a more Kirigiri kind of role. Smart girl sort of side protag actively tries to hunt down the mastermind. However, since she's the Ultimate Liar and the cast already seems distrustful of her, I could see Eva discovering the secret to the killing game or the true mastermind but no body believes her which either leads to Eva killing the mastermind, or the mastermind killing/framing her. (Like Junko trying to frame Kirigiri in chapter five.)

🦈 Desmond Hall - Ultimate Marksman

I don't have much for Desmond. I feel like he'll either be a victim or a survivor. I can't see him as a culprit. At least not intentionally. I could see him trying to protect someone and killing their attacker in the process on accident, but I lean more towards a victim for him.

🦢 Eloise Taulner - Ultimate Fencer

I see Eloise as a survivor, but I lean towards a culprit. It's not a strong theory, but I see them trying to flip the shrinking violet trope on its head. In the chapter one preview from the San Antonio game expo we see Wolfgang trying to "help" Eloise by offering to walk with her before they go exploring and she seems to get annoyed with him. I could see this being a way to show that Eloise isn't a fragile as she let's on.

🦩 Toshiko Kayura - Ultimate Matchmaker

I want to believe that since she's literally a baby that she won't die, but part of me believes that since she's so young she will die. My current theory is that she's either the chapter one or two victim. I could definitely see the team choosing to kill her off early as a sort of "shock value" for the cast. Because I'm sure seeing a child get murdered would be more psychologically damaging then seeing an adult die. I'll be honest my Toshiko theory is kind of weak.

🐻 Wenona - Ultimate Entrepreneur

I see Wenona as a kind of Celeste character. The whole "if you do not adapt, you will die" mindset. I could see her staying distant from the group the majority if the time. I think that she will be a culprit, chapter three specifically. In the chapter on trailer we see during her free time event that the bear symbolism they gave her represents strategy. I feel like she'll have a really complex murder plot since she's obviously smart. She's also a Native American woman in the field of business. That's obviously not something easy. I highly doubt that she would give it up so easily. Plus, she's a billionaire. As much as I love Wenona, she's evil.

🦉 Ulysses Wilhelm - Ultimate Historian

Let me start by saying tat he is my favorite. Unfortunately, that means he's going to die. He writes everything in his notebook, if that doesn't sound like a major point of discussion in a trial, I don't know what does. I could also see him surviving, but I lean more towards a victim for him. The only reason I seem him surviving is that there could be this big moment in the final trial where they have to connect several seemingly unrelated notes in his notebook to find the big mystery or whatever. Anyway, I love him and if he dies I will lose it.

🐊 Mark "Mayhem" Berskii - Ultimate Music Producer

I can see Mark as a victim or a culprit and both of them revolve around Jett. As we see in the prologue, Mark is a very shy and reserved person. Obviously this paints a target on his back and any character who has a close friendship is another death flag. I could see him being killed and Jett falling into despair, or killing somebody with Jett.

💄Diana Venicia - Ultimate Cosmetologist

Diana is a character who I feel very strongly about as a survivor. It's not a strong theory, but it's just what feels right. Most people take the chameleon symbolism to be negative, but I don't see it as good or bad. I think it just emphasize that Diana is your average sixteen year old girl blending in with the crowd. She'd not a threat, she isn't aggressive, she just a teenaged girl. She is kind, she is helpful, she loves makeup. She just wants to love her life. She's so plain that she'll blend in and she will live.

🐑 Wolfgang Akire - Ultimate Lawyer

Oh boy, here we go. This is the big one. I believe that Wolfgang will either be a victim or a survivor. He will be the antagonist, but he is not a villain. Like I said for Damn who says the right thing in the wrong ways, Wolfgang will say the wrong thing is the right ways. I truly believe that Wolfgang has good intentions, but he is so optimistic and passionate that he lets his savior complex to bring everybody into a more vulnerable state. Like Damon's snake symbolism alluding to him bring the "devil" to the group, Wolfgang's sheep symbolism shows him as the "angel" to the group. The lamb of God, the Messiah, the guardian angel. He wants to save everybody, but he can't because he doesn't accept the horrible truth of the group's situation. He wants to believe that he can bring them to salvation, but a man can never be a God. My other theory is that he will be a final chapter sacrifice. A death is necessary for the group to escape and he will accept his new role of Martyrdom. Letting him finally become the savior he wanted to for the entire game.

🦋 Kai Monteago - Ultimate Influencer

Butterflies represent change, the butterfly effect. Kai will be the first culprit and this will lead to more fear without the group causing more people to want to kill. The flap of his wings will cause the tornado of death that will plague the group for the rest of the game. Short theory, but I feel strongly about it.

🐺 Jett Dawson - Ultimate Drag Racer

As I stated with Mark's theory, I see Jett as a culprit. Either Mark will be a victim and Jett will fall into despair driving him to murder in a later chapter, or he will kill somebody to escape with Mark. The only way this would work is a motive we're the backend can bring one person with them to the outside or they find a way for Jett and Mark to both equally be held accountable as the culprit. Though I'm not sure how something lijrme that could happen since the only instance is in SDRA2 chapter three and the plan behind that was bizarre (in a good way) and I doubt they could replicate anything similar.

🦁 Ingrid Grimwall - Ultimate Blacksmith

Ingrid is the only character I can't really think of anything for. I just have a strong feeling that she won't survive. Sorry.

🐲 Jean Delamer - Ultimate Ship Captain

I can see Jean as a chapter five victim. Since we see in the chapter one demo that he takes the hope speech guy role, I can see him dying fairly late in the game either as an "easy target" or since he's getting in the way of more murders happening.

🕷 Cassidy Amber - Ultimate Pro Gamer

I see Cassidy as a survivor, but I don't have any evidence. I just can't think of a theory for her as a victim, or as a culprit. She could also be the true mastermind, which is a fairly popular theory. That makes some sense considering her spider symbolism and the whole "tangled in a web" metaphor.

CHAPTER 9 (sixth house skull, but at what cost?????)

sriracha girle tells nona that, after her imaginary phone call with coronabeer, the ceaseless watcher left the building

nobody knows what this means but sriracha girlie is still on the case

then they start hearing shots outside and everyone has their safety precautions but they're all bored about it instead of afraid

wish this was just a fiction thing and not the current world

so everyone gets picked up except for sriracha girle, as ush

camilla comes to pick up nona from school and gets pastries (aka facturas, where I'm from)

camilla is doing the lord's work here

she got them by selling out pyrrha's cigarettes, apparently, which I find a great exchange but I don't smoke, so I'm obviously team facturas

then, we get a nona flashback from a month prior, about the Event which prevents them from going swimming anymore

they used to go to the sea at dusk to have some private time with the water

and by them I mean nona went swimming, because the sea is filled with deadly jellyfish, so they'd kill a regular person, but not nona

she can swim with the jellyfish, which sounds beautiful, actually

the whole swimming description is so relaxing and beautiful and I am hating this heat but I'm grateful for the swimming opportunity it provides

swimming is great

swimming with jellyfish without dying must be great

relaxing moment for 3.5 seconds for everyone

of course things can't be relaxing for too long, this is tlt we're talking about

nona sees some people surrounding camilla and guesses it must be the police

which, in every universe, is a Problem

tons of police men surrounding one woman, yeah, doesn't look great

but I was fine because this is camilla fucking hect we're talking about

no cops at pride, just camilla and knives

nona can't hear their conversation but, at one point, she can hear camilla say "speak House"

doesn't sound good AT ALL

nona sees one of them pointing a gun and warns camilla, which earns nona a shot through the shoulder

so then, when nona resurfaces, she finds everyone lying motionless and camilla squatting on the sand

and I was like "of course my baby did that"

but then nona looks at her and she's got one camilla eye and one palmolive eye

and is talking like camolive is some sort of dragon ball fusion

they ask nona not to freak out

I'm freaking out

camolive's timer starts going like crazy and they ask nona to drive them home

camilla comes back to herself at this point BUT

she's bleeding everywhere

like, blood coming out of her skin

it's everywhere

nona asks her to get palmolive but camilla says they can't

so nona has to drive them home in the middle of the night with the blood and the salty water and the potential police following

nona thankfully can manage and pyrrha says camilla is in thanergy shock

she says they can never do that again and that if palmolive wasn't sharing a body with her, she'd be kicking his ass

Today we reject canon and embrace non-canom ships like it’s the 2000’s-10’s again. Let us begin heheheh (also im sticking to masc leaning characters because c!Ven likes 🅱️oys.)

I don’t think they’d be bad for each other, I just think Ven would feel out of his depth yk? Their communication type wouldn’t clash badly, they’d both be able to argue without killing one another, but they just dont click?

I just think Ven would be intimidated? and that should be a dealbreaker in any relationship.

Caspian

6/10: Smash

Caspian would be the cool ex that you still see sometimes in random places, and you stop for 10-15 min to see how he’s doing, before you both leave and forget about each other again.

Cas would keep Ven’s bossy streak in check, and they’d sort out their problems together well. They have aligning interests in knowledge and writing, and overall they’d work.

they actually seem like the kind of couple to fall out of love with each other? which is very sad to me ;-;

They’d care about each other a lot i think, in a Scott’s Street by Phoebe Bridgers kinda way

Centross

7/10: Smash

… there’s only room for one self-sacrificing idiot in this relationship.

Opposite of Rae; Centross is Ven’s type, personality-wise. Also Centross does the love-bickering thing that Ven and Feng would do. They communicate well, they’d argue healthily, over all they’d be pretty good tbh. The sleep schedule between the two of them would be bad though, Ven would forget to stop work and Centross would do the same, they’d forget to check in with each other.

Rae

3/10: Pass (edit, was 2/10 but i raised it by 1 for Zenni the beloved)

you already know what i’m gonna say about these goobers. they’re terrible for each other

the interesting thing to me; there’s only two reasons for Ven to date Rae. 1) they’re young, and social norms say you should date someone similar to you. So both Vena and Rae would go “he likes what i like” and call it a day. OR 2) Rae would be a rebound for Ven. neither of which can happen in canon. (i love the band au blorbos <3)

Seven

4/10: Pass

they wouldn’t be bad, Ven just wouldn’t know how to approach Seven? Seven has so much going in, and Ven would need to know every detail about Seven’s past in order to feel comfortable in the relationship. Seven can’t really give that, so the relationship is over before it’s begun.

Ulysses

7/10: Smash

Similar to Caspian, they’d get along, they’d be good exes. Ven would learn a lot academically from Ulysses.

Will

4/10: Pass

Based on the emotional reactions seen in the spy arc of S2, I don’t think these two would get along. i actually think Ven would get on Will’s nerves in close proximity, if he were to open up and let Will in emotionally. Not that it’d be Will’s fault, they just clash. They would have common interests though, so all wouldn’t be lost.

Will would speak his mind, whilst Ven clams up and avoids conflict, but they’d get around to communicating eventually. (so they’re def not the worst pairing on this list.)

Wolf

…9/10: Smash

ok hear me out, you haven’t seen the half of it in canon yet, but these two work well. They have a lot in common (that i can’t share yet)

they argue so well, maybe even better than Feng and Ven did. Where Feng would speak up with Ven, Wolf sits and listens and waits.

Wolf is Ven’s type physically,tall with long hair and broad shoulders, and comes close to his type in personality.

this is ABSOLUTELY not meant to disagree with you or anything I've just been a little confused lately (plus love to talk about stuff like this). when you say that the fallout show or modern fallout doesn't understand the themes, what do you mean? Is it that they don't execute them as well/as cleanly, or are there things wholly missing that you'd expect in fallout media? and then bc i love your fallout takes: What are the things you'd want/expect?

hmm. the thing is that the first two fallouts + fnv (and fallout 3 and 4 to an extent) are about a post-post-apocalypse. the world has ended, and now a new world has risen from the ashes. new civilizations, new societies, new life. for me, the core theme of fallout has always been that people will always survive, always rebuild, even after such a catastrophic world-ending event, because that's just our nature. it's only a question of whether people will be rebuilding in the image of the old world or making something entirely new; whether they'll let go and begin again or be stuck with their old world blues

i know the series tagline is "war never changes" which has been taken to mean that society is doomed to violence and war forever and ever and ever but i want to point out that it has been rebutted by ulysses in lonesome road ("if war doesn't change, men must change, and so must their symbols. even if it is nothing at all, know what you follow, courier...") so i had really hoped the show and newer additions to the series would have moved on somewhat. but bethesda are married to their "recently post-apocalypse, violence is rampant, everyone hates everyone else" setting, so we'll be getting random settlement bombings explained away by someone solemnly saying "war never changes..." until they run the IP ragged

Vinny Santorini x F! Reader

The story is about one of the crew members (=reader) having coffee with Vinny in the kitchenette inside Ulysses on sleepless nights.

"Oh, Here it is..."

I heard footsteps approaching from the hallway, then saw someone entering the room.

"Good evening. Eh, I can't sleep, I mean, when I change my pillow... well, that's fine though."

The ceiling light seemed too bright for his eyes, and the man spoke with a frown.

"Just lying in bed is boring, don't you think? I woke up and walked around and noticed a room with the lights on, so I was curious and went in."

He looked around kitchenette, then turned towards me. With just one more person in there, the room felt even more cramped.

"I, I couldn't sleep either, so I thought I'd have a coffee here..."

I could feel the gazes of him looking at me, a little wary and appraising, and my voice trailed off.

"The water is already boiling, so if you don't mind, would you like to have some coffee?"

"Oh, that's good. That's a nice offer."

His expression didn't change in spite of what he said, and he brushed the dust off the wooden boxes stacked near the table before sitting down.

"I didn't know there was a place like this... well, it's a little cramped for relaxing."

Indeed, the tabletop on which he was currently resting his elbows was also strewn with small items.

"How many teaspoons of sugar would you like?"

"Hmm, no sugar, and eh, a bigger cup, please. Is that okay?"

As he answered, he seemed to be pushing the miscellaneous items on the table to the side.

"Here you go. It's just... a little strong."

"Thanks. I'm already wide awake, so it's not bad at all..."

After saying that, he brought the heavy mug to his mouth. I wonder if such a thick mustache gets in the way at times like this.

"Oh, that reminds me, I forgot. Cheers."

He lifted his cup towards me, so I hurriedly replied. It felt strange to toast with coffee in the middle of the night with someone I've barely spoken to.

I put sugar in my coffee, but it was still bitter. I wanted to add milk, but unfortunately I couldn't find any.

"This is the first time we've really talked, right? In the morning, we just exchanged greetings."

He raised one eyebrow and looked at me. I wonder if he's okay with bitter coffee. I hope so.

"Yes, really... I'm nervous because there are so many people I don't know yet."

"I guess so. Actually, this is my second time doing this kind of research. Well, ask me anything, but, uh, only if I know."

At first glance, he seemed difficult to approach, but maybe that's not the case. He talked for a while with his usual expressionless face, then drank the contents of his cup, said a short thank you, and left the room.

After that, there was a slightly tidy desk and two mugs on it. Staying up a little late helped me relax in a good way.

The smell of coffee lingered even while I was clearing away the dishes, so I thought it wasn't so bad that the room was small.

The next night, he came over in the same way.

"I was wondering if you might be here again today."

I had just turned on the kettle, so I turned around to answer.

"I thought so too, so I boiled two cups of water."

"Oh, as expected. Which reminds me, Sweet praised you. He said you're really attentive."

I think I lied a little. It wasn't that I thought he'd come again today, I just prepared more than I needed in case there wasn't enough.

"I'm glad I didn't have to waste a sleepless night." He said, tilting his mug.

What I learned yesterday was that this person is much more talkative than he looks. This would certainly make him want someone to listen to him.

"The others fall asleep so easily... I say they're just sloppy, yon know, they're not very sensitive."

It was interesting to hear him talk about the other crew members. It was refreshing and fun, as I felt like I had become more knowledgeable about things on the ship. I wonder if I was responding well, and I hope I made it easier for him to talk.

"Oh, it's empty, what the... Well, I guess I'll go to sleep then..."

He stood up, looking very fed up, and disappeared down the hallway with his back curled up. Apparently he made it a rule to go back to his room only after finishing his entire cup of coffee.

It was a relief that he was the one to end the time. Otherwise, I would have just been lingering in this comfortable room for a long time.

"What do you think Sweet told me this morning? He said, 'Hey, staying up late is bad for you.'"

Today, he sipped his coffee with a frown on his face.

"It's like I'm a student and he's my teacher or something. It's annoying, seriously…"

"Oh, so Dr.Sweet knows about this room?"

I replied, holding the mug to my lips.

In fact, the cup has been nearly empty for some time now, and it seems that so has his.

"Well, we share the same bedroom, so I'm sure he'd notice if I went out in the middle of the night. I never say anything directly, though."

He put the cup on the table and continued talking.

"But I mean, imagine that big guy coming into a place like this, like a secret base..."

As he said this, he used both hands to exaggerate the size of that guy, which made me laugh.

At the same time, it occurred to me that I wasn't the only one who hadn't told anyone else about the time we were spending in this room.

"Secret base" is just an analogy. It's obvious. I somehow managed to get through the pounding of my heart and the night went on.

"So, that's what he said, so I... Vinny, why are you laughing?"

"No, no, I'm not laughing, it's just… , you know, please don't make that face."

As we sat knee to knee talking at a narrow table, it felt like we were in a cafe.

When the conversation occasionally stopped, the sounds of the equipment echoing inside the ship reminded me of where we were. And also, the rules for this time, which neither of us had said.

I've only been taking sips from my mug for a while now, and the contents of the mug haven't been reduced at all. His mug, on the other hand, seems to be already empty, and he obviously hasn't noticed, but he continues to chatter.

There's nothing I can do, but I just feel anxious.The lukewarm, bitter coffee just doesn't seem to go off my tongue.

When he saw me finally put the empty cup on the table, he sighed and stood up.

This time is coming to an end again today. Now, I have to get back to my room instead of sitting here.

"Well then... I guess I'll make another cup."

He said this without looking at me, and headed towards the stove. Rather than being surprised by his words, I was flustered and instinctively called out to him.

"No, then I'll..."

"No, uh, sit down. Then, how about this? From now on, it's my turn to make the second cup of coffee."

He said it so casually that I was at a loss for words.

I had thought it would be nice if this moment could continue for a little longer. But I never thought it would actually happen.

His casual remark made my heart race, and if this feeling was just a misunderstanding on my part, I wanted to stop it.

"Ah... yes, of course. Well, if... if you don't mind."

I answered hesitantly because I never thought something like that would actually happen. Does he really feel the same way I do? No way.

"And besides, waiting for someone else to make the coffee can be quite a happy experience, don't you know?"

He turned around and continued speaking. Whether he knows it or not, he sometimes says things like this that make my heart flutter and it really makes me feel confused.

"Am I supposed to pour it as thinly as possible? I was taught that once, but I seem to have forgotten."

It seemed he had decided to keep talking while pouring the hot water. At this rate, it would take a long time before we could drink the coffee. But he was right, and I found the time I spent waiting quite comfortable. I sat in my chair and leaned my back against the wall, listening to him speak in his usual tone.

"I wish there was milk in here, you know, sometimes I'm not in the mood for black coffee. I'll ask Cookie about it next time… "

Ulysses is a little disappointed as he has a fairly sporadic sex drive (which is going to kill him during this challenge), but he'd be on board for your sake. There are days when he truly struggles to stay focused, and he may end up dropping hints that he'd be fine with breaking the streak, but he'll force himself to keep at it if you encourage him to. 5/10, he fails the second you do. Honestly, just depends on how determined you are to complete the challenge.

Joshua thinks it’s a great idea, however, he agrees for a different reason than how you might’ve intended it. He takes this as an opportunity to prove to God that he is not controlled by lust but by his desire for a relationship with the Lord. Even asking him about it has made him certain that you feel the same way, and he'll only feel more devoted to building a relationship with you. All he's ever wanted was someone who pushed him to be a better Christian. 12/10, the fire inside burns brighter than his need to cum.

Dean considers the entire practice to be for the common folk who need to practice controlling their primal urges. He doesn't know any poor people and, quite honestly, he just doesn't like losing. Why would he sign himself up for something he knows he won't pass? And in front of you too - it's embarrassing. 2/10, he'll do the bare minimum to show he's not a dog in heat, but after he thinks he's done that, he'll quit.

Christine couldn't care less what the two of you end up doing. If you want to go a whole month with no sex, then so be it. She's not very picky when it comes to intercourse, and her libido isn't crazily high either. She personally finds it quite easy, however, if you decided you wanted to go back on the challenge, she'd be incredibly disappointed. She's under the impression that once someone says they're going to do something, they should stick with it. 9/10, she does her best to push you through the rest of the month but doesn't actually take it that seriously.

"Uh.. sure, I don't mind."

Follows-Chalk fails almost as soon as he agrees because he genuinely has no idea what you’re asking him to do. He'll just laugh it off and ask if you can restart instead. You'll end up finishing the challenge on a completely different day because he does want to do a full four weeks of this. He's pretty average at it, but his excitement at trying something different (and the praise Joshua gives him) keeps him going. 6/10, he treats it like a sport.

Rae Morningstar and Loneliness: An Analysis

SO something that occurred to me recently is how much being alone effects. well. everyone in Fable(not like everyone everyone but like,a not insignificant amount of people.) Their society is shown to be one of few(if not the only) thriving communities, and lots of people deal with being alone either before they join the cast, or during. Take Ulysses. when he shows up in Fable, he has to grapple with the fact that he is the last of his race. Same with Ari- being one of the last of the Aether. And for characters like Icarus, Caspian, and many many others, they have to deal with being alone before they find a community of people they can be around and trust. One such case is Rae Morningstar.

At the start of the story, Rae is alone. Almost everyone has some form of connection. Icarus, Centross, and Easton have ominous bane. Momboo, Jamie, and Easton are family. Haley already knows Momboo. The only people without any connection are Athena, Will, and Rae. Will's not really around much, and well, Athena had a retconned family so it doesn't really affect his character. (Though i totally do have thoughts about this post retconned Athena and stuff but this is a Rae post). However, by the end of the series, Rae is deeply embedded in the community. He was alone once. and he tries his hardest never to be again.

Rae's lowest moments are when he's alone. In season 1, when Enderian makes him that offer, he probably wouldve taken it in a heartbeat, if not for the fact that if he did, he would be Alone. (and also that he might be used against his friends) In s2 when he finds out he and Icarus are brothers, he is so desperate to hold on to that relationship. I think its why he's so desperate to keep that connection. He doesnt want to lose his brother again. Also the beginning of S2 IS SO bad for him. All of his friends, his family all gone. he's alone yet surrounded by the people he knows. He mentions how bad it wouldve been if not for Ocie- the one person who can relate to him. Someone that stops him from being completely alone. Then theres the sculk arc, which, do I even have to explain? In s3 , Rae gets mad at Centross. A big reason is because Centross left him alone. And when Icarus starts to isolate, later on, what does Rae say, in concern "I just don't want them to be alone." Rae was alone before. so now he tries to make sure that no one else in the community is. For example, he reaches out to everyone. He's always the one people go to for help, so that when they need it they won't be alone. See where Im going with this?

Another thing. Each and every time Rae met one of his partners? Bot him and the partner have been alone. Take Caspian- I mean Cas was alone in the prison, he was isolated. And Rae had been banned from seeing Jamie and Athena was being kept away. The two people he was closest too at the time had left him- even if it wasn't their own choice. When he met Aax, everyone he knew and loved had forgotten him. And Aax had been sitting alone in a cave. Waiting for Theo to return. Even when they first met, Aax was alone, being the only one to escape from the Telchins, and Rae was trapped in a home where he had no one to turn to. When he met Fenris, ,he was alone, having run from his home to keep people safe. And Fenris was alone after being turned into a wolf who couldnt even talk to other animals. for possibly centuries.

Even in smaller things, he doesn't want to be alone, like when he learns Centross and Fenris forgave Ven. He doesn't know how to deal with that anger, now that he's alone in it. He gets tatoos so that he wont forget these people, so he'll never be alone. And at the end of hist story? He and his family turn into gods. He'll never be alone, not even in death.

Anyway i just had some thoughts. if you noticed any inaccuries/have any points to add/ disagree with any of my points please reblog! i want to see waht other people think. Also i might make a follow up on how loneliness affects other characters, this really got me thinking

Hello there! I remember you asking for prompts for p:eg characters tierlists, and I think I have an idea, which I hope is interesting enough. How about ranking them in regards of having (if so, to what extent) or not having (maybe to the point of having critical misconceptions about it lol?) any kind of medical knowledge? Such as basic first-aid, perhaps CPR even, etc. Even though none of their talents are related to medicine, I assume at least some of them are able to be a bit helpful in case of an emergency. (Also, we all know for sure that Ulysses, for example, has a generally good knowledge of medication; I feel bad for him though because of the circumstances in which he acquired it :()

Oh, trust me, it’s rare that I take down an ask sent directly to my inbox, unless I just don’t really feel like doing it for whatever reason.

But it’s rarer still that someone wishes me a nice day regardless of whether I respond! Who knows, I might need that luck (there’s a pretty dangerous storm coming tomorrow where I live, but I should be fine), so I have decided to grant your request! Explanations below the cut:

Damon: There’s no way this man has any medical knowledge beyond being able to badly fashion a tourniquet or some shit.

Eva: We already know she has a lot of science knowledge in that brain of hers. It’s not too much of a stretch to say that might include human biology… but that alone isn’t enough to be a good medic.

Wolfgang: Wolfgang’s pretty terrible at stuff outside his job… emphasis on “outside of his job”. He is a lawyer, after all, so it wouldn’t surprise me if he didn’t have at least a bit of medical knowledge in that brain of his.

Grace: Her VA has actually already said (in her interview with the Pixel Partners) that one of her hidden talents would probably be that she’s good at basic first aid-adjacent stuff due to how many fights she gets into! Only for mild injuries, though. Not so much at actually saving lives.

Toshiko: I don’t have to explain this. That is a child.

Eloise: I reasoned that all the people with combat-adjacent talents would have at least some medical knowledge. Eloise is the first of many examples of this.

Desmond: Connecting to the above point, but since Desmond is the only one out of the combat-adjacent talents who actually fights (fencing is more of a performative thing), he gets it even better! Besides he just kinda gives off those vibes.

Jean: Again, I do not think I need to explain this. I’d be surprised if he didn’t save someone’s life at some point.

Ingrid: If she knows what keraunoparalysis means, she probably has lots of other medical knowledge too.

Wenona: I’d kinda be surprised if she didn’t have at least some medical knowledge, but I can’t see her having that much.

Cassidy: Look me in the fucking eyes and tell me she knows first aid. I dare you.

Jett: I was gonna put him in the lowest tier, but then I was reminded of his burns- he probably knows some things related to that.

Mark: Yeah, there’s no way.

Diana: Because of the kind of person Diana is, and also the tricks she turned out to have up her sleeve in Chapter 1 (both successfully hiding a slash wound with only makeup and picking a door with a hairpin), I think she might turn out to be kinda good at it? Can’t say for sure though

Kai: I think he’d be good at pretty specific things? Like, I dunno, treating overdoses. He did have that whole panic about the drugs in the pharmacy, after all.

Ulysses: Both because you pointed out his rather… complex history with medications, and because I think being a historian would come with a lot of vague knowledge of biology. For example, trench foot. I sure as hell wouldn’t know what trench foot is if not for my history classes.

Tozu: Because he’s so obsessed with ✨murder✨, I think he would know a lot about human biology and thus be somewhat good at first aid. But it depends on whether he wants to help or not.

Mara: Adding onto the “people with combat-related talents are good at first aid” rule! I headcanon that she applied those bandages on her leg herself. Not to mention, it’s actually part of my headcanon lore that she saved someone’s life once! (though less out of the goodness of her heart and more because she thought it was worthwhile to tell her superiors about the fucking dying man in this random building they were searching (guess who the dying man was))

So I love New Vegas and would love to see the Courier in different worlds. The thing is that I have specific things I enjoy with crossovers and things I don’t enjoy. One of the ones it would be cool to see the Courier in is Mass Effect and I’m gonna say it here, I don’t like Mass Effect. The dialogue physically hurts me at times, especially the romance dialogues. I went for Garrus because I was told to romance someone and I thought his design was cool, another factor was the fact he was a sniper. The only thing I liked about Mass Effect was Legion who sadly died in the third game for me. How was I supposed to know that Tali dying on the suicide mission would result in his death no matter what?

Anyway, the point is that the world and concept of Mass Effect is cool but I didn’t enjoy the game besides a few mechanics.

Moving on, there’s not a lot of FNV x ME fics out there and even less with things I enjoy so imma talk about some ideas.

The best and most used way for the Courier to be transported to another world/universe is with the Transportalponder from Big Mt. It could also be because people like Cerberus did an experiment that resulted with something similar to the device that accidentally brought the Courier there. He could be teleported either to the location they used the device or somewhere else which would lead to them abandoning the project seeming as it didn’t work from what they could tell. This could also be used to bring others from NV to ME since they would likely try multiple times if it doesn’t work.

One thing I never see are ones where it’s not just the Courier running around. I wanna see how someone like Joshua or Ulysses interact with this new world. This is also an excuse for me to see different factions bring their problems to a new world. Someone like Caesar or Father Elijah recreate their factions for their own benefit and add more problems to the universe.

I can see Mr House still being stuck in the Lucky 38 and having control of the strip but also having part of his consciousness in this new universe and taking as much control as possible. He would likely recreate RobCo and something like New Vegas, maybe take control of that little area in the Citadel DLC for the third game. Point is that people like Mr House who have intimate knowledge of monopoly or people like Caesar who have the charisma and intimidation to get people to follow him would cause chaos. There’s no way that someone like Caesar who indoctrinated people from groups and settlements that he himself destroyed with the Legion couldn’t pull it off in space. The Brotherhood of Steel would be estatice about all the new and unique tech but would pretty much stay the same. They would probably be seen as terrorists like Cerberus with their racism towards anything that isn’t human and how they take any tech they can find from anyone who has any.

This would take place before the final fight for the Hoover Dam so not only would there be the Courier who is already a legend of sorts in the Mojave in Mass Effect but so are other Factions. There could be some of the companions that get brought there too. Usually Courier is either by himself or has ED-E with him but he could also have someone like Boone (one of my favorite companions) who he can partner with anytime or someone like Christine (another one of my favorites) that he only got to work with for a little before they parted ways for good. They could do their own thing around the Galaxy and do what they feel is right. I can see Boone trying to take down things like the prison that Jack is at in the beginning of Mass Effect 2 since the prisoners are sold like what happened with his wife. I can see Arcade continuing the work of the Followers and treating it like a new settlement for them and putting up a clinic or helping with the genophage cure after learning about the Krogan. He would probably get along with Motrin if they met.

Everyone would be confused as to who these new players are and the fact they have little to no information about them besides the fact that some are human. If someone like Raul and or Lily was brought then they would have a bigger target on their back since no one has seen anyone like them since Ghouls and Nightkin don’t exist, the closest thing being the husks. Depending on how far into the series they are summoned at will affect how they are treated.

With the Dead Space x Mandalorian crossover I ended up shipping Isaac and Din but I prefer to stay away from any type of romance when it comes to crossovers regardless of if they’re in the same universe or not. I’m okay with canon romances but only if they’re kinda like a footnote and not a big part of the plot. So things like EDI and Joker are okay but only mentioned a little.

The Courier doesn’t have to be a companion for Shepard but could appear every once in a while by accident. The two of them working together would be ideal for Courier to get home with the Cerberus plot but not really needed. Courier would likely know how to handle something like this on his own, it ain’t exactly his first rodeo. With Cerberus being him here, he would likely find out one what or another and start hunting them down. The tech they would use shouldn’t belong to any in the eyes of the Courier since he has seen what people do with power and fear what would happen if they bring more people from the Wasteland.

Courier and Shepard wouldn’t get along at first. I see Shepard as paragon and would be seen as naive by the Courier who has seen all kinds of corruption and sees that people like the councils won’t change and see what’s in front of them. Eventually the two would respect each other, Shepard wouldn’t completely agree with what Courier does but would somewhat understand where he’s coming from.

Also imma say this right now, I see it as John being Shepard and will throw hands if I see another crossover with the focus on Shepard being him getting with Tali, Liara or Miranda. I’m okay with Shepard being female but I don’t like romance so no shipping her with Garrus, flirting with him had me leaving the game for hours before coming back to try to get through the rest of the dialogue. Yes, Shepard can probably get with anyone but it feels forced in the games for me, like it was required to end up with someone. Same thing with Courier, I can’t ever see him getting with anyone despite me thinking he could probably pull anyone and not make me extremely uncomfortable since you never actually hear Courier speak.

I can’t see Courier giving away any of his weapons and just taking them whenever he sees them but the image of him letting someone borrow something is hilarious since not only are they old looking but seem like they are impossibly held together with a bunch of scrape. Them witnessing fallout mechanics would be hilarious.

Just “hey can I borrow something from you?”

“Yeah sure, just don’t question where I get it from.”

That or something like bloody mess, “there’s a hostile pinning us from above!”

“No there’s not”

“DID THEY JUST FUCKING EXPLODE?!”

Yeah, the wasteland would bring chaos to the universe and Courier would just tag along for the ride. All he wanted to do was do his job and deliver a package but nooo a dude in a checkered pattern suit shot him in the head and made it everyone’s problem, even in a new universe where the bombs didn’t fall. Also I want to see Courier get kicked out of more Casinos since it’s funny to imagine him being banned from every casino he has ever been in. Imagine the Courier in the Citadel DLC, it’s just Shepard looking as he stands there.

“I thought you would be gambling, your always saying you would spend all your time here if you saw one.”

“I got kicked out.”

“Of which one?”

“All of them.”

“Wait what? We’ve barely been here for like half a day.”

“I kept winning until they kicked me out of all of the casinos.”

“I’m sorry what?”

“You're not getting any of my winnings.”

I’ll probably expand on this thought later but seeing Courier Six bringing chaos to other worlds is beautiful to imagine.
